NZ Music Month Specials

New Zealand Music Month, held every May, celebrates the country’s rich musical talent. Launched in 1997, it was extended to a month-long event in 2001 to promote local music and artists. The month features live performances, album releases, and community events, aiming to boost the visibility of New Zealand’s music scene. With a focus on supporting homegrown artists, it has grown into a significant celebration of Aotearoa's musical heritage.
