Maxon DC motor with gearbox

These motors are precision devices that are made in the same factory as mars lander motors, new the motor alone costs 100's

Some motors have light surface imperfections due to the second hand nature of this product.

22mm diameter Maxon DC motors,  planetary gearbox fitted. They were operated at a nominal 12v DC, can run between 5v and 18v & output power about 3watts. Gearbox is about a 231:1 reduction, it does about 70rpm at exactly 12v DC. Motor has precious metal brushes.

Gearbox & gears are steel, with 4mm stainless outlet shaft (flat keyed) on ball bearing. Weight about 160gr, full length of motor 66mm plus 13mm shaft. It has three tapped holes in the gearbox end cap for mounting.
