This is an excellent sounding Mic Preamp/Guitar DI that just happens to have a 24/96 audio interface built in.
It would work great for a performing singer/songwriter who is performing live with a laptop/ipad.
It can also be run as a mic preamp/DI without a computer as long as it recieves USB power (from a phone charger for example)
While this is a great sounding option, please note that direct monitoring cannot be diabled i.e. you will always have the input signal present at the outputs.
