If your electric guitar loses brightness/treble when you turn the volume knob down, then this is an easy fix.

Simply solder the capacitor/resistor network across the input and output terminals of your volume pot and it will restore the lost brilliance.

There are two configurations, the capacitor and 1st resistor in parallel would be the most noticable.

If you're after a more subtle effect (eg on a Fender guitar) then adding the 2nd resistor in series with the network will accomplish this.

 

The kit includes one NOS WIMA 680pf capacitor and 2 150K resistors.
