The UNI-T UT71B Intelligent Digital Multimeter is a comprehensive electrical multi meter designed to make obtaining measurements as quick and efficient as possible. It can measure AC and DC voltages of up to 1000 volts in four and five measuring ranges respectively. It can also measure AC and DC currents of up to 10 amperes in five measurement ranges

The UNI-T UT71B Intelligent Digital Multimeter can also measure resistance of up to 20 mega ohms in six measurement ranges, and capacitance of up to 20 micro farads in seven measurement ranges. What’s more, it can measure frequencies of up to 200 MHz in eight measurement ranges, and can measure temperatures of between -40 and 1000 degrees C.

This digital multi meter is surprisingly easy to use despite its impressive functionality. There is a large dial on the centre of the body which is used to select which type of measurement you would like to take. Additionally, there are eight buttons above the dial, which are clearly labelled, and correspond to one of the tool’s many functions. The device also has four ports, including a COM port.

This impressive multi meter from the digital multi meter range at Uni-T has lots of user friendly functions. These include the capacity to store and recall up to 100 pieces of data, and to conduct diode tests. Additionally, the multi meter has a MIN/MAX mode, a relative mode and a data hold function, allowing the user to personalise their use of the meter. Other notable features include a USB port and an automatic sleep mode.
