This high-quality sound system consisting of the Power Dynamics PDA-B1000 amplifier, two Power Dynamics PD415P 15 "1400W speakers and a set of 5 meter PD Connex speaker cables is perfect for a wide range of applications. Carnival, hospitality, mobile DJs or drive inn shows there is actually not an application where this set does not come into its own.
The set has a capacity of no less than 2x 350W RMS and can certainly count itself among the better sets. Power
The PD415P has an RMS capacity of 350W, which means it can be used for larger parties and spaces without any problems. Driven by the right amplifier, the PD415P manages to produce an amazing sound. Thanks to the built-in crossover filter, the signal from the amplifier is correctly distributed over the woofer and tweeter. Low bass, good midtones present and sparkling high is the end result so that this speaker remains pleasant to listen to after a long time, also at a higher volume.
Housing
The housing of the Power Dynamics PD415P is made of a very strong ABS plastic. This not only makes the speaker shock and scratch resistant, but also ensures that the speaker does not become too heavy in terms of weight. In order to be able to lift the speaker easily, handles are molded on both sides and top so that the housing stays nice and tight. Due to the lightweight construction, the PD415P is ideal for mobile use with mobile DJs, but certainly also for fixed installation on a wall mount where the load on the wall is a lot less than with similar heavier speakers. A 35 mm tophat is available for placement on a tripod or wall bracket. Because of the sloping side it is also possible to place the PD415P on its side so that it can also be used as a monitor speaker during live performances.
