This circuit is perhaps the most common classroom circuit involving NPN transistors used to switch. Suits age 11+
Kit includes all components and instructions to make a Light Activated Alarm / Siren. Includes a LDR light sensor to trigger the alarm when light is detected. Adjustable for light conditions with trim pot. Great for sound effects on a model railroad, display scene, or just for the fun of it.
Kit comes with complete with circuit board, components, a 2" speaker and instructions. Requires basic soldering skills and a 15 to 30 watt soldering iron. A small amount of solder is included with the kit.
Operates on 9 volts DC
